Short Biography

Michele Mangili was born in Bergamo on May 31st, 1987. He received the M.Sc. in Computer Engineering in July 2012 at the University of Bergamo, and the B.Sc. in Computer Engineering in September 2009 at the University of Bergamo.

From July 2011 to January 2012, he spent six months as a Visiting Scholar in the Security Research Team at SAP Labs France SAS, Mougins, where he contributed to the European research project PoSecCo.

From October 2012 to December 2015, Michele pursued an international co-tutorship Ph.D. thesis at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (Université Paris Sud – Advised by Professor Fabio Martignon) and at the Dipartimento di Elettronica Informazione e Bioingegneria (Politecnico di Milano – Advised by Professor Antonio Capone).

His current main research interests are Network Modelling, Planning and Optimization; Content-Centric Networks; Network Security.
